I thought it was a very profound treatment of the subject. So much to think on and profit by here. A topic I guess I had not faced up to and need to. Thank you.
This is so freaking insightful and well articulated Russell. Man, you sure know how to do the hard work and then quietly, peacefully receive the rewards❤️
Good read. I like the Stoic idea that no one does something negative intentionally. They don't just don't know better, and don't know how to handle situations differently. Spite says more about the spiteful person than anything else, of course. It's sad your former friend was waiting for people to call. What was his motivation for lusting after a big book deal? Sounds like he had a huge deficit of self-esteem (and probably happiness), and was looking for external validation of his value. It's nice you called him.
Wouldn't everyone love for their friends to share the joy? If it were me, I would call them up myself to tell them. I think it's what I did the times my writing was published. And I think my friends were genuinely happy for and with me. Oh. It wasn't a big book deal. :)
Bishop Desmond Tutu explained his situation idea of forgiveness so well, it seemed easy. But it isn’t but that’s no reason not to try to forgive.
Also I would like to pre-order your book. How do I do that?
Thank you, Janet. To pre-order the book, you go to this link.

Exactly.
