Todd Wilkinson grew up in Minnesota, but has lived in Bozeman for more than thirty years. He founded the extremely successful online publication, Mountain Journal, in 2017, but stepped away from that for about a year before launching his latest venture, Yellowstonian, another online journal intended to focus on saving the Greater Yellowstone. Todd has been a journalist for almost forty years now, cutting his teeth as a crime reporter in Minneapolis. He has authored several books, including An Intimate Portrait of 399: The Most Famous Bear of Greater Yellowstone, which won the High Plains Book Award.
Other books include Science Under Siege: The Politicians' War on Nature and Truth, Last Stand: Ted Turner's Quest To Save a Troubled Planet, and Ripple Effects: How To Save Yellowstone and America's Most Iconic Wildlife Ecosystem.
