Eric Funk was raised in Minnesota and Havre, Montana, and has become one of the most highly regarded composers in Montana. For the past twenty years, he has taught at Montana State University, and he also hosted a very popular show on PBS called 11th and Grant, where he featured and interviewed musicians from a variety of genres from all over Montana. Funk recently retired, and was granted an honorary doctorate from MSU.
