Tim Gordon was raised in Missoula, the son of a contractor. But he took an early interest in antiques and fine arts, and began setting up tables to sell his wares as early as the age of ten. This interest eventually led to Tim becoming one of the most highly regarded appraisers in the world—a regular on Antiques Road Show. He has appraised such collections as Princess Diana’s ball gowns, the Yellowstone National Park Historical archives, and the estates of Jim Morrison and Al Capone. But he still maintains that down to earth Montana humility. He was a delight to interview. Tim will be appearing at the Yellowstone Art Museum on Friday, May 9th, to offer his services to anyone who is interested in getting an item of value appraised.
